This Arthur Court grape salt and pepper set is perfect for the stovetop, yet, with its elegant design, will look beautiful on the table.The shakers are glass and the metal tops are manufactured using Arthur Court's signature premium aluminumDesigned for casual dining and everyday use, these grape-themed salt-and-pepper shakers add a charming accent to a traditional-style kitchen. Each octagonal shaped shaker is fashioned out of heavy, honeycomb-patterned glass and, at 4-3/4 inches tall with a 2-inch diameter, holds plenty of either spice. The screw-on lids have a brilliant luster that captures the elegance of antique silver; however, they are actually made of hand-polished aluminum, which is much easier for today's busy hostesses to maintain. Lids are hand-crafted in the shape of a bunch of grapes with several drooping leaves and each has seven drilled holes so they are interchangeable for seasoning with either salt or pepper. The shakers themselves are dishwasher-safe but the lids must be cleaned with mild soap and water. This set works wonderfully with other casual pieces in the grape kitchen collection, such as the canisters, paper towel holder, and utensil crock.
