The simplicity of design on this Arthur Court grape 21 inch handled serving tray, with its mirror-like quality, finished with a beautiful grapevine design at the outer edges, make this an elegant and versatile tray. Great for using in the bar, serving poured drinks or cit an also double as an appetizer or dessert tray. The metal is manufactured using Arthur Court's signature premium aluminum alloy.The simple grace of this beautiful, 21-inch oblong serving platter makes it a perfect palette on which to serve a whole roasted fish at a formal dinner or bite-sized finger foods, such as grilled polenta rounds, at a cocktail party. The tray's brilliant luster captures the elegance of antique silver but is actually made of hand-polished aluminum, which is much easier for today's busy hostesses to maintain. The design features bunches of grapes with leaves and vines in bas-relief winding around the outer edge of the tray. The rectangular tray curves up slightly at the edges to prevent food from sliding off. Handles at either end are helpful for passing hors d'ouvres and four feet keep the platter planted firmly on a buffet table. This aluminum serveware is not dishwasher-safe but cleans easily with mild soap and water. Lining the tray with glass or spraying it with vegetable oil just before serving will protect the polished finish from dulling or discoloration that can occur when serving highly acidic or salty foods. This serving tray makes a wonderful wedding gift for a couple who loves to entertain.
