Summary: 1 Stars True, this little hotplate is not very expensive, but still, it's lost money when the bloody thing stops working!! It was not dropped, it was not dunked into water, it wasn't left ON by accident. It just ceased to work while I was frying bacon. I wish the sellers on Amazon.com would show the country where the item is made. The one I received has a tag on the bottom: Made in China. I don't have anything against those workers, but I'm not buying "Made in China" products any longer. Why? Because they break or fall apart. I'm looking for a MADE IN USA hotplate now.
