I love this fryer...with one exception. I has a caked on gummy oil residue in the oil pot and nothing I do will get rid of it. So far. Other than that I would give it a 5+++. It heats up quickly, the temp is correct and it frys like a dream. Big. really Big. But having the extra baskets gives me a lot of options. So far it is completley hassle free. Setting the temp & timer are not a problem. The instructions are very clearly written. Yes .. definitely a 5 (as soon as I can get rid of the oil ring)Customer Review: Works great- love the large basket

Purchased this gift as a Christmas gift. Wasn't sure about the uncommon brand, but bought it anyway due to favorable reviews and large basket as well as 2 smaller baskets that came along with it. My brother loves it. It fries very well, doesn't leak, and it's easy to view the food that's cooking through the window. He loves the large basket that came with it as large basket fryers are difficult to find. He can keep wings fried for a hungry crowd by using the larger basket. This is a great fryer as far as cooking goes. However, the timer and temperature settings are next to impossible to set. Maybe I just got a bad one, as others seem to not have any problems. Also, the controls are right over where the hot steam comes out if you have the lid on, so getting burned is easy to do. I wish I had bought one that had one simple dial to set temperature and a light to come on when that setting was reached. I don't mind using my watch to time.Customer Review: Best Fryer Ever!

My boyfriend and I bought this fryer as a birthday gift for his father. Very impressed with it. The two smaller baskets and 1 large basket made it very easy to make all the things we wanted to right after each other. Made two different types of fries in the smaller baskets and bloomin onions in the large basket. Very excited to see the recipe booklet that comes with it too. All in all, it was a great purchase and my boyfriends father was very pleased with his gift.Customer Review: Fry em up!

Since this is the first deep fried we've ever owned, I was very careful to follow all the instructions. For the first use I made begniets. They puffed up quickly and even on the low setting of 350, they cooked really fast. I had to work quickly and even then some burnt. That was user error though. This is a fantastic fryer. It also cleans up easily afterwards. Canola oil works very well and doesn't smoke. I definitely recommend this item.
