It is fish stuff that smells bad for day or or two. 3 days after the spray, I could feel the grass getting stiffer as I walk through the lawn. It isn't as strong as horse manure, but it works well. I could not give 5 stars because the container. I could not tell if the can is all used up during the application. The one in the picture is in clear see through container. The one I received was not.
