Customer Review: It's okay and serves its purpose

This remote caddy is certainly an improvement over my previous one which was flimsy to begin with and pretty quickly shredded in use. I don't think this one will. It will be very nice not to have to continually stuff the threadbare remains of my old one down under the cushion.
But I wish the pockets were deeper. The magazine stiffener doesn't stay in well; the hems catch on it too. I'd be happy to do without that pocket and have deeper remote pockets. Also the counter weight is a nice idea but with my La-Z-Boy recliner, I still have to wedge it down beneath the cushions. It's nice and long and the counter weight does seem to help it stay in place but I don't know how much wear and tear the caddy's getting.
The caddy seems well made and I'm glad I got it. Do wish it had been a solid color which would go with more upholstery. Mine for instance is a check pattern and the tapestry of the caddy doesn't go well with it at all. I'll live with it but still....
If you need a remote caddy that's well constructed in a heavy upholstery fabric - and don't mind its shortcomings - I do recommend this one.
