About the ONLY thing I could see this being useful for, is if you take it camping, as it's your elbow grease that makes it work. The lid is next to impossible to keep clean, as there are only a few small perforations to drain the wash water from it, which leads to bacterial build-up, it's a poor design, and the mechanism really doesn't do what they claim. If you're a chef who camps, have at it! Otherwise, leave this thing on the shelf.
