very bright but generates a considerable amount of heat that I was unprepared for. Also, hsa a cord "roller" switch that is approx. 1.5 feet from the device. This is a design flaw since it sits on a desk, and the cord typically dangles off the back.Customer Review: Don't turn the black knobs or the screws will come out!

Man this thing is bright!!! Easily adjustable.
Only con to it it gets way too hot. You could use it as a heat lamp to keep food warm.
