On paper It's an easy install, if you've never handled a wrench before it could get tricky. I had to keep checking the instructions, to make sure i have the hoses hooked up correctly, but otherwise, it was a very simple installation. I've been using the filter system for about 1 year now, no leaks. I've replaced the filters once as recommended, I enrolled in the auto ship program, so I don't even have to remember the last time I replaced the filters, I just replace them when they ship them.

The water that comes out of the filter tastes great, Couldn't be happier. Great product. I'm so glad I have the system now because this story just broke: [...].

and I live in an old building.

After installing our water filter we were curious as to how well it actually worked. We did a test on the water using a professional TDS meter. It said that the water was practically the same as unfiltered water. How disappointing to see this, especially after all of the promises the manufacture makes. Not worth the high cost of the unit, or the additional cost of expensive replacement "filters" (which don't seem to do much). We'll be sending this unit back for a refund.

The kit came with everything I needed to replace the sprayer house sink attachment and add this water filter. It took a couple of hours to clean out under the sink, and complete the install, but it was not difficult. The water is tasteless now, and makes much better ice cubes.
