I ordered this pitcher to complement the set of tumblers and I am very happy I did. The pitcher is made of somewhat thin aluminum so it's easy to dent, but if you're not especially hard on your tableware it should be fine. As someone else noted, this is NOT dishwasher safe. It is, however, very easy to hand wash. Growing up we had a set of the tumblers and I remember them well. They were a summertime favorite. I was pleased to be able to add the pitcher to our new collection as it really does complete the set.
