I've had this tea kettle for 14 months now. I have been so happy with it that I came online to buy one as a gift and thought I should leave a review. It has moved with us, been used 100+ times, has gone through all temperatures and the dishwasher, and it still shines and sings. It's a gorgeous stove ornament, and always gets a compliment when a new friend is in the kitchen.
I really can't say enough good things about this little kettle, and can't think of one bad thing about it. It looks and works as good as the day I bought it.

I purchased this teakettle as a replacement for an old stainless steel one that had rotted out over the years. I bought this about 1 and 1/2 years ago. Its a fun conversation piece, but what I've found over time is that the enamel on the interior bottom of this kettle is disintegrating. After you boil water, you'll find a milky, cloudy mixture at the bottom. Something to keep in mind if you purchase one of these and to keep your eyes open for! Otherwise, its a lot of fun, the whistle sounds like a train and takes some getting used to.Customer Review: Love my giraffe tea Kettle!

OK. This is not the best quality kettle I've had, but it makes me smile everytime I see it. So that's worth alot! Not sure how long it's going to last. And it stained the first time I put tea bags into it and haven't been able to get the stains out. Still love it. I Love this kettle !!
Not only is it cute, and matches my Noah's Ark theme kitchen, but the "whistle" is more like the sound of a smoke alarm so no way I will burn this one up. I've gone thru so many & now use them for plants because i just didn't hear the whistle in time.
The other animals are cute also.

I was disappointed with this kettle. The handle is plastic and so is the whistling top of the spout so the directions tell you not to turn up the heat to "high" because the plastic parts could melt! The kettle leaks when you pour from it! I would send it back but the postage is too high.
