Customer Review: A great set of mugs!

I had been unhappy with the size of my old mugs, so my initial purchase of these was mostly based on the nice, large capacity. They are, in fact, a perfect fit for my coffee drinks; two shots of espresso and a frothing pitcher full of steamed milk fill the mug right up to the rim.
Besides the size, I've been very impressed with the stability of these mugs. They are very difficult to tip. Any horizontal pressure will slide the mug across a smooth surface, even when applied at the very top. One mug took a short fall (about 3 feet) onto a stone tile floor without breakage or any visible chipping.
The smooth glass also makes for much easier rinsing than my previous ceramic mugs. Any residue from coffee, milk, and flavored syrups comes right off under the faucet without any additional scrubbing.
The thickness of the glass is great for maintaining heat, but it also means that the cup warmer on my espresso machine takes a very long time to bring it up to a good temperature. A little hot water does the trick, though, so I'll take the advantage of a better insulated beverage in exchange for the oh-so-slight inconvenience.
Finally, the mugs look great. The coloring is consistent throughout the set. They don't appear to be as dark and saturated as the product images, but I think I prefer the way that they look in person. I find that I appreciate the transparency, as well; I haven't reached over to take a sip out of an empty mug since I got them.
Overall, I'm highly satisfied with these mugs, and would definitely recommend them.
