Customer Review: Nice family glasses

I got a dozen of these because my child has cp; he kept dropping his glass. It is difficult for him to grip a normal glass. At the same time, I don't mind the glass being a bit heavy as long as he can keep a good grip.
I found these at walmart for $2/mug (still at that price 9/11/9). I also purchased two 32oz (1 liter) mugs for about $4 each. These glasses are heavy, freeze well and are perfect for just about everything. Also made in usa (and I thought everything at walmart came from china). Of the mugs I currently have, none have any seam or imperfection that needs attention. That is, no sanding required as mentioned by another reviewer.
These mugs weigh 1 pound, 13 ounces and hold 20 oz. That is the exact equivalent of a glass filled with ice and one 12 oz can of pop.
November 2010 Update: Still going strong. I like these Mugs.
