I was looking for a pocket scale that was accurate to within +/-.001g, however, they are very difficult to come by. So, I got the next best thing -- .01g. Precious gems and metals require extremely accurate weight measurement. I was very pleasantly surprised by the accuracy, and at the low price, I was expecting to pay much more. The quality is superior, it's very well built, and I expect it to last quite a long time.Customer Review: great little scale

I bought this to weigh polymer clay for forming beads. It's very sensitive, it can detect a small scrap of plastic wrap. It has a tare function if you need to use a piece of paper as a carrier for what you are weighing. The actual scale plate is small (2 1/2 by 3 inches), and the weight limit (100 grams) is also small,so it cannot handle a large object. You could weigh letters, but not packages. It's very sensitive so make sure it's on a stable surface. The tare function is very useful but it turns off automatically if it isn't used for too long which can be a little annoying because you need to tare it again but now there's stuff in your tare item. If you're going to take a long time, just touch it once in a while to keep it on for an easy fix. It's not a big enough deal to buy something else.Customer Review: You better not change your mind

Ordered the scale on Amazon and received an email that it was on its way the very next day. 2 days from date of order I received this product. Well wrapped, brand new. Good product can't wait to use it. Well I have been using this for shotgun shell reloading for quite awhile and it is excellent. Small enough to work around but large enough to weigh powder and shot. I purchased this exact scale from this seller for reloading. Its important to have .1grain resolution, as is advertised. It does not, its .2grain. Contacted seller (scales n tools) they said that it was a manufacturing change and offered to take it back. Fair enough. They still havent changed the ad on here though, so they are purposely misleading people with false advertising.
