Customer Review: Blue Digital
Summary: 4 Stars

Just received this product the other day. Will state right off the bat , that before you try to turn it on remove the Shrink-wrap type plastic that comes with the pre-installed batteries. I kept pushing the on/off button and was almost ready to give up on it , when I checked the batteries and noticed they were still in this post shipped plastic.

The thing I liked most was the Auto off feature , if you leave the scale on for more than about twenty seconds it automatically turns off. Next thing I liked was the blue illumination of the digital display. The 100 gram calibrating weight makes a nice Table weight for paperwork :) Actually it weighed about 100.4 to 100.3 five different samples.

There is a instruction set on the inside of the Lid which is a helpful reminder in case of forgetting directions. Third thing I like is the size , fits in the inside pocket of any coat , or the inside of desk drawer. I weighed several dollar bills = 1.0 gram to 0.98 consistently sample was ten one dollar bills. Weighed 5 nickels which are supposed to weigh five grams. 4.97 throuh 5.2 out of sample of four nickels. Can zero it with the tare feature if you are using a tray for herbs for energy drinks if you're on a diet so is very useful.

I bought for all purpose , letters , energy drinks , weighing old jewelry and such. Am very happy with it so far.

Customer Review: Best pocket scale of its kind for the price...buy with peace of mind
Summary: 5 Stars

I scoured the internet for the most inexpensive 100-gram scale with the best possible reviews, and this is it. Consider this review your due diligence on price differentials.

First of all, shipping was lightning quick. It took three days for the scale to get here, four days before the lower end of Amazon's estimated shipping period. When I got the scale, I found that the 100g calibration weight vindicated my decision entirely. How is one to know if the scale he bought works at all if there is no standard from which to measure? The 100g weight provides peace of mind that most other ads on here don't provide. You can come to your own conclusions about that.

The scale itself was sleek, spotless, and expensive-looking. The digital read-out looks great and will always comes within .01 grams of whatever you're measuring. The directions for use are idiot proof. The scale itself weighs very little. And like I said, the most important aspect of this scale is the price. You can buy a lot of scales on ebay or Amazon but this ad simply is the most inexpensive option that will work guaranteed. Other ads offer similar items at higher prices, some ads offer lower prices without a calibration weight or any reviews whatsoever. When you factor in the free $5 calibration weight and the peace of mind, this is the best product.

Customer Review: Simple and Accurate with the calibration weight
Summary: 5 Stars

This scale is easy to use, is reliable, and seems accurate.

Out-of-the-box experience was easy. Just take the wrapper off the two included batteries, press the power button, and calibrate it following the instructions printed on the inside lid.

If you turn on the scale and it doesn't show 0.00 on the screen, it is time to recalibrate. This happened to me three times in one week, probably because of temperature changes in my house as winter rolled in. I recommend keeping the calibration weight next to the scale.

Aside from the 100-g weight, I have no way of checking the accuracy of the scale, but I will say that it is consistent and reliable. I can weigh the same thing multiple times and get the same reading, assuming I give it time to settle, and allowing for edge conditions where it might go up or down 0.01g.

I bought this scale for a science experiment that my son did that required him to detect weight change as mold grew on bread. The weighing plate is raised above the surface of the scale a little, so we could keep the bread in plastic food savers and still get good measurements. Day-by-day the change was around 0.10g so this scale had the perfect mix of precision and price.

Customer Review: best bang for your buck
Summary: 4 Stars

The scales work very well, and to include the 100 gram calibration weight, it's hard to beat that deal. The shipping was also very fast, I think it took only 3 days after I paid for it, it was here. THE ONLY BAD THING I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS SET IS IT SHOULD HAVE COME WITH OR HAVE THE ABILITY TO USE THE COVER AS A TRAY, AS THE SCALES ARE VERY SMALL, BUT!!, I USE THE BOX IT CAME IN, JUST PUT THE BOX ON THE SCALE, TURN IT ON AND IT CALIBRATES BY SUBTRACTING THE WEIGHT OF THE BOX, AND WITH THE 100 G weight in the middle of the scale, it's always at 99.99 or 100.00. When dealing with .01, hundredths of a gram, you must put the weight in the center of the scale to get it to read 100.00, but they are so accurate, out of the 15 tests I have thrown at it, it's always with in .01 of the actual weight. The times it was .01 off, it must have rounded the .001 or thousandth to what it is set for. I am very pleased with this item and would recommend it to anyone needing to weigh something, and have it be 100% accurate, great product, easy to use, and just can't beat the price for the quality and performance you get with it. THEY ROCK!!!!!!!

Customer Review: Great for the price, some quirks though
Summary: 4 Stars

Just got this scale, and it DOES include the 100g calibration weight, as described.

It came in a nice retail box, with batteries (Although they're cheap made in china batteries that I suspect will last a week at best) Full manual and documentation included. It's easy enough to use, only 3 buttons, and the weighing area is large, but the lid is not removable to use as a larger tray. The lid closes securely with a small push button release, so the lid won't open by accident.

After carefully calibrating the scale, it seems to fluctuate readings by about +/- 0.03g for heavier (50g) items, and 0.02g for lighter items. Even multiple calibrations doesn't help, you can't reproduce the same reading even if you remove the item for a second and put it right back. For the price though, 0.03g accuracy is very good for most people's needs. If you need more accurate than that, you'll pay exponentially more.

100g maximum is kind of low, but you get what you pay for.

I'd definitely buy it again at the price.
