I purchased this because of it seemed strong yet gentle on my pots and pans. I was right. We always are looking for this piece when doing any cooking. It does not bend and get flimsy when heated like many other spoons we have used while cooking. To make a long story short, I am very disappointed to find that [you] apparently no longer carrying this. My dog got a hold of our spoon and chewed it up pretty good. I was hoping to buy a couple more :o(

Each utensil features a heavy-duty 18/8 stainless steel handle combined with nylon end rated for 400°F. The Nylon & Stainless Steel Slotted Serving Spoon coordinates with Amco's collection of Nylon & Stainless Steel cooking implements and its simple, elegant design will complement many tabletop decors. The slotted bowl is great for serving food such as green beans that release juice as they cook.This long-handled spoon is nylon coated, so it won't damage delicate nonstick cookware, and the slotted head allows cooking liquid or grease to drain easily. The nylon coating also means that food won't stick to this spoon, making it easy to lift and transfer meatballs, poached eggs, or steamed dumplings--though it's probably not suited to deep-fat frying operations, because oil temperatures approach the 400-degrees-F limit of the material.
