Customer Review: Why must we hurt when using this pan?

The pan is solid, well built and seemingly high quality.
The design however is horrid. The handle is SO uncomfortable that I have resorted to wearing an oven glove while flipping food in it.
Why do they put such an uncomfortable handle on a high cost prosumer pan? During design did they actually say, "Yes, this is a great feeling pan, this will be a winner from All-Clad"?? Or maybe they just stuck a stock handle on not even caring. Either way, 2 stars... Makes me want to go back to Calphalon, if only they made a 13" skillet.
