This steamer is not of the same quality as the USA manufactured All-Clad cookware. It is lighter in weight and the handles and lid are not as nicely constructed. I love this steamer because it fits in All Clad sauce pans from 2 to 4 quarts. The other version with the long handle doesn't fit the 2-quart.
Works beautifully. Easy to care for (dishwasher safe).
