I love this pan. Since buying it many years ago, I use it constantly. Love it for grilling vegetables, chicken, even did a tandoori tofu on it last night. I have found it dependable, easy to clean (really) and especially love the grill marks on the foods. I give it as gifts and recommend it to others. I do agree that over a burner (I have gas) it isn't completely even and I tend to move items around as some sections heat more than others--but not significantly enough to make me unhappy with the pan.Customer Review: So hard to clean !

I just purchased this grill pan and was so excited to use it. I washed it and seasoned it before use as recommended by the manufacturer. I used it for hamburgers and although the meat tasted great, the pan was so hard to clean. Some of the burnt on pieces got into the grooves and despite my best efforts, I could not get everything off. My husband had to spend 15 mn scraping away with a plastic spoon! I chose this pan instead of the Le Creuset for the supposed easy clean up and I am disappointed.Customer Review: Nice pan for the cast-iron averse

I picked this pan up on sale for $50 at a kitchen store several years ago. I've used it for fish and vegetables, and it does fine. But I mostly use it to make awesome french toast. It perfectly fits four big slices of bread in a pinwheel pattern. Cleanup is easy. The only downside is the limitation of the material-- you can't get it super-hot and get those seared-on marks like you can with an outdoor grill. For that I use cast iron. But this pan is really easy to use and has a place in my kitchen.Customer Review: Trouble-Free Indoor Grilling

I threw away an old-fashioned Lodge cast-iron grill pan (heavy, hard-to-clean, and with a tendency to produce heavily charred food)and replaced it with this one. I am highly satisfied with All-Clad's product! The pan turns out perfect meat and fish with brown--rather than black--grill marks, and cleaning requires nothing more than a once-over with a soapy kitchen sponge. Also, the rectangular shape of the pan seems to accomodate large-sized pieces of food better than my former round pan.Customer Review: Good for just about everything

I've used a couple of other grill pans from other manufacturers and was never very impressed. But I decided to give it one more try with the All-Clad. What a difference. Everything I've made from fish to vegetables, soy burgers, steaks - everything, has come out great. I've also found that it cleans up easily after a quick soaking. I don't use any spray and only oiled it as per the instructions the first time I used it. Northing sticks. Overall, a great pan I use several times a week.
