Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of All-Clad 5201.5 Stainless 1-1/2-Quart Saucepan with LidCustomer Review: All lCad Door Busters are must have Summary: 5 Stars
All Clad has two pots at bargain prices to lure cooks in to the pleasures of top quality cookware--the 8" fry pan and the 1 1/2 qt. sauce pan. You deserve both of them so don't hesitate. My mother is 89 and a true penny squeezing Depression Era baby. I gave her the 1 1/2 qt. sauce pan and to my surprise the last time I visited she had bought the fry pan for her self. She liked the looks (she leaves these pans out on the stove just because she likes the look of quality) and appreciated the even heating and ease of cleaning. If you buy these two pieces you will probably come back for more thus justifying All Clad's marketing strategy. I know I sound like an All Clad shill, but don't hesitate, it's a bargain.
Customer Review: All-Clad saucepan with lid Summary: 5 Stars
After buying first the 1/2 qt pot I bought a 7 piece set. I still needed this one to complete my All-Clad set. Although very expensive, I have never used a better pots and pans. The bottoms are flat and provide very even heating of the pot for cooking. I have an induction stovetop, and needed magnetic pans. I have some other magnetic pots and pans, but these are by far the best. I plan on handing them down to my grandkids because they are so great. Extremely well made, much more so than the ones made in China also marketed under the All-Clad name. I got the best deal on Amazon.
Customer Review: Hot to Dine Summary: 2 Stars
4th degree burns can be suffered when handling this metallic brim stoke pot, which doesn't have cool iron density retraction at the handle. You are better getting a cool wave disperse model which Maytag sells, but if you use a Calco hand glove, this is just as good.
Customer Review: Great Cookware Summary: 5 Stars
This is a heavy duty item. It distributes heat evenly and it is very attractive. I have a full set and bought this piece for my daughter. I would highly recommend it although it is a bit pricey. It should last forever if given proper care.
Customer Review: Small saucepan Summary: 2 Stars
I though I was going to be thrilled with this pan since it is made in the USA except for the lid. However, the lip is not rolled so when you go to pour liquids out of the pan it goes everywhere. I had to return it.
