This is an excellent product! I purchased it to mix my morning coffee. The cups were just a fun bonus. This is a great machine to ensure complete mixing of anything in a very short amount of time. Highly recommended for coffee, mixed (alcoholic) drinks, and even things like crystal light drink powder or chocolate milk powder. It also does make a nice froth when you add milk to your beverage, if you like that sort of thing! :)

Milk frother that comes with travel case, liquid resistant seal and recipe book. Designed for kids. Easy and fun to use. Measures 8 1/2" by 1 1/2". Two AA alkaline batteries included.Aerolatte designed this colorful Shakes kit for kids. It arrives complete with easy-to-use frother and sturdy plastic cups with built-in "crazy" straws. Still, a lot of grown-ups would enjoy the light, frothy shakes it makes--especially in these health-conscious days. The milk and juice concoctions, fruit frappes, and frothy hot chocolate mentioned on the enclosed recipe sheet can all be created with nonfat milk, soy, or rice milk.
The frother is easy to use. Switch it on with a simple toggle button and hold the head just below foam level to keep froth building. Using the whisk on softened ice cream in milk results in a traditional American-style shake. The shape of the handle is curved in the right places and flattened on the sides for a comfortable grip. When it's time to replace the batteries, a ridged cover slides off to reveal the battery chamber. The blue, snap-shut carrying case with water-resistant seal keeps the frother safe and dry for picnics, barbecues, or other outings. Finally, when you?re done whipping up your favorite shake, the complementing blue-and-yellow cups are fun to drink from with wide straws that curve and loop around like roller coasters.
To clean, turn on the frother and dip the whisk in hot soapy water. Rinse well, and turn again briefly to spin dry. Wipe the handle with a damp cloth--do not immerse handle in water. The shake cups can go in the dishwasher, but the straws need to be washed by hand. The frother whisk is not removable from the battery handle. The frother measures 8-1/2 by 1-1/2 inches. Two AA alkaline batteries are included, as well as a recipe and instruction sheet. Aerolatte guarantees the Shakes frother for five years. --Garland Withers
