I didnt purchase this for frothing. I purchased this as a better way to stir my coffee.
I drink a powdered cappacino mixed with water & a little instant coffee & it needs to be very well stirred to get as much of a creamy consistency as possible.
This frother not only stirs the mix far better than a spoon but the added ability to create a thick froth is an added bonus.
I didnt evrn know I liked the added froth until I tried it.
The frother itself appears to be made well & operates & cleans easily. Its very slick looking with its brushed like finish.
I would reccomend this to friends & family...

I have been a Cappuccino lover for quite a while now, with my Krups simple espresso model. I learned the hard way to froth the milk using the steam nozzle handle. Recently I got a Nexpresso, that took me in another level of quality. However, my Essenza does not come with a froth nozzle. So there was a expensive choice, the Aeroccino from nexpresso or the Aerolatte. I could not believe that this little machine battery operated (Aerolatte) would make a better froth than my five years of steam labor. It is just better. I did not try the Aeroccino yet, but this very inexpensive apparatus totally surpassed my expectations. I recommend it.Customer Review: Great Frother!

I'm no expert, but this device works quite well. You do need to "play with it" just a bit to learn how to maximize your froth, but I find it works great. I have a lower end espresso machine, and I've switched to using the frother since I can heat my milk in parallel making my espresso and then quickly create my frothed milk (by not having to wait for my espresso machine to heat up for steam). If you are new to frothing, keep in mind that you do need a somewhat larger container to froth in since the froth works it way towards the top of the pitcher.
I've had this for a few months now and it has worked great.

After reading many glowing reviews of this product, I decided to purchase this product. I adore coffee, particularly cappuccinos and lattes. This is the first milk frother I have purchased, and it did not live up to it's strong recommendations. A number of reviews praised it for it's frothing ability. One review said something like: the foam is so good that it can be shaped. In my experience this frother makes okay foam, but the foam disappears very quickly and isn't very thick. I have tried it with skim milk, whole milk, and heavy whipping cream. Although it wasn't very expensive I am not satisfied with this product.Customer Review: Very poor construction

I had high hopes based on the many many great reviews of this item. Once I received it I was surprised by the poor quality. It states in the discription that it was made of stainless steel (discription states: "Streamlined construction made from polished, stainless steel") but it's made of cheap plastic and even worse the buttons and the battery holder are of even cheaper plastic. My main button didn't even work well and I had to hold on to the battery cover.
I looks like something I would get at the Dollar Tree.
I had a feeling it won't last too long at my home so I sent it back just based on its constuction.
