Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Aerolatte Deluxe Edition Milk Frother with Stand, Stainless Steel

Customer Review: love it but...HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE BATTERIES
Summary: 5 Stars

We've had several of these and the deluxe stainless steel edition is definitely superior to the other versions BUT, the other versions have this little black "tab" on top that you push with your thumb and the battery compartment opens. I CANNOT figure out how to open the top on the stainless model. There's a stainless top with a black band below it and the stainless says "open" with an arrow and "close" with an arrow in the opposite direction. Cannot seem to push, pull or twist to make it open. Can't find the instructions at this point -- HELP!!

Customer Review: Absolutely love it!
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this frother! It makes wonderful latte- I heat up my skim milk in the microwave about 40 seconds, then use the frother for about 5 seconds. Add a little caramel syrup and my coffee and I have an incredible coffee drink for much less than Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts! Much simpler than the espresso machine I bought in January which took about 20 minutes and was hard to clean- not to mention how the steam scared me! An added bonus- my daughter drinks all her milk now since I froth her chocolate, strawberry, or even white milk!!

Customer Review: Close enough!
Summary: 4 Stars

This is a really convenient way to froth milk for a quick faux cappucino. I just brew regular coffee and add this to the top with some cinnamon. The only surprise -- which isn't really, when you think about it -- is that the milk remains cold. I was used to a steam frother, which took care of heating the milk at the same time. When I want to go the extra mile, I'll throw my milk in the microwave and heat it first before using the Aerolatte, and that works perfectly. Cleanup is a breeze and the stand is truly creative and useful.

Customer Review: Frothing is A-1 - but leaves you "cold" unlike a traditional steam frother
Summary: 3 Stars

I gave this as a gift to a friend, and although he claims it works fantastically as far as its frothing capabilities go - he tells me it has perhaps one downfall which is that because it is handheld, and/or a separate entity from his java machine, that it lacks the benefit of using pressurized steam to do the frothing. He tells me that he now has an extra step in preparing his morning jolt consisting of a brief stint into the microwave for his frothy "moo juice" before it can be inter-mingled with his xtra potent cuppa joe!

Customer Review: great little frother
Summary: 5 Stars

I own a Nespresso espresso machine, which makes wonderful espresso, but I have not been happy with the milk steaming device that comes as part of the machine. Since I drink only lattes, I was at a loss about how to make them. This frother has made it all SO easy. I simply microwave the milk while I'm making the espresso, froth the milk (the whole process takes less than a minute), and pour the two together. Voila! GREAT lattes! I LOVE this frother! And it goes under a running faucet to clean--couldn't be easier.
