Customer Review: Filter paper... uh, it fits the AeroPress, and erm, it works

I was prompted by Amazon to "review recent purchases" so here goes. This is just (JUST??!!!) the filter component to the Aeropress, which kicks major butt as a coffee maker. I can't recommend it enough... and if you use the Aeropress, you'll NEED these filters that allow it to work in the first place.
DUH!
So, yes, I LOVE THESE FILTERS which allow me to make coffee, which I cannot seem to live without. I grind espresso beans in a Solis Maestro, run that through the AP and wham-bam-thank-ya-ma'am... a wondrous liquid is born of mere water and plant matter.
"How long can this dude go on blathering over these simple paper filters?" one might ask.
No longer than THIS.

These filters are requisite for the Aeropress Coffee Maker. The filters do their job a little too well: all fine particles are filtered out, even with extremely fine grind coffee. Manufacturer claims filters can be washed and reused, but I had better results using a new one each time. If you are considering the purchase of an Aeropress, note that my Aeropress arrived with one packet of filters included, so you may want to forgo buying a second packet until you see how you like the coffee maker. The Aeropress makes very good regular coffee but very poor "espresso." I was not able to produce coffee with any "crema" on it.Customer Review: Handy filter for my cappuchino machine

I picked up a brand new never-used stainless capucchino set at a garage sale. After testing it, I felt it needed filters. These are the only ones I could find. They are the right diameter, but I need to cut a tiny hole in the center to allow them to fit over the threaded stem in the middle of the basket (they go on top of the grounds, as the steam goes UP then into a drip line.) We found we could fold the filter into 1/4, snip off the center, and that created a perfectly centered hole. They work great, and there are no grounds in the cappuchino!Customer Review: Inexpensive, and work well

These are the correct replacement filters for the AeroPress coffee maker, which I use at least once a day. They work exactly as advertised.
The manufacturer claims I can wash and reuse the filters, but I don't. They go away with the coffee grounds.
Thanks to the AeroPress people for not overcharging for the filters (and even at $0.01 each, I'm sure they make a little profit). They profit, they sell more coffee makers, I get a good product at a fair price... exactly how capitalism is supposed to work. :)

We have been using a french press for years in Vietnam and Thailand. After two uses of this product, we noticed significantly smoother taste to our coffee using the same grinds as with the french press. I am sold on this product and would recommend it to those looking for a new way to drink coffee. It even produces better coffee brew than the cappucino machine at work. Well worth the investment. The Aeropress also comes with filters so no need to buy extra ones like I did with the initial purchase.
