Customer Review: Broke after only a couple months

I loved this thermometer while it worked. It is easy to read and works fast, even looks nice. Sadly, after just a couple months of very light use (and careful, gentle, hand washing) the display is broken and cannot be read. No idea what caused this, but I've already had to buy a different thermometer. Very disappointing.
Gave 2 stars because it is a decent product if it works, but I can't in good conscience give higher than 2 for something that broke so quickly for me.
