I purchased this item for my husband who desired to use a laptop on a recliner. The pictures seemed good, the price was affordable. However, the item arrived dented. Not dented as in the corners of the box are dented from delivery, but the middle of the bottom bar was dented. Small cosmetic defect, we chose to keep it at that point and assembled it. The assembly was not bad, however some of the holes simply did not line up with each other. For instance, there is a cross shaped metal bar at the bottom for stability, and it is connected to the vertical support. There are four holes in the cross which should connect up to the vertical bar. We were only able to line up three of them at a time, the threading also did not come up all the way. My husband had to screw in the screws first to open up the holes before attempting to connect the two pieces. Even then, we were only able to connect three of the four. The table is a bit wobbly, because it does end up being very topheavy, but it supported well. My husband is comfortable with putting his laptop onto it (granted it is not oversized), and attaching a mouse but he is not comfortable with putting a drink near it, which was what he originally wanted it to be able to do. After about a week or two, one of the wheels popped off, so we replaced them with wheels from our local home repair store. Then the 'pressed wood' from around the screws that attached the table began to come loose, so we applied Gorilla glue to the holes to reattach the screws. Overall, it does do its function, but it is very cheap. I would not advise buying this item.
Update: After this review was posted, the company contacted me through my email and offered to replace the wheels. I took them up on this offer and I was rapidly shipped a new set of wheels. This was helpful and the company was very receptive. I was pleased with the customer service received from the company, the product has since then not had any additional issues.
