Customer Review: Works but lamp came broken

Even though the box had no sign of damage, the flouresent 13w lamp was broken inside the box. Stacks and Stacks where I purchased it is replacing it however.

This energy efficient, 21" arc desk lamp by Adesso, is pretty and conventional in style. Lamp takes one PL-13 bulb, which is approximately equivalent to 65-Watt incandescent and bulb remains room temperature even after hours of use. Lamp adjusts at the base for optimal use, offering additional reading light in den, workshop or other areas of the home or office. Available in black or satin steel finish.Adesso's Arc desk lamp offers a classic look that's updated to provide effective modern lighting. Crafted of coated black steel with wood accents, the long, triangular shade holds one energy-saving, cool-burning PL-13 fluorescent bulb (equal to 65 watts) and can be tilted to direct light precisely where it's needed. Slender double support posts provide an airy feel and bend forward and back, while the weighted round base hosts an easy-access on/off toggle switch.
