My dog is neurotic, and after installing this in my office (where his kennel is) he started hanging out right below it and sleeping. He also is much calmer when we come home - I haven't heard him howl since. I wouldn't say it's a 100% solution to barking, but I would say when we get home he isn't out of breath from howling/barking for hours. I would recommend (next step - says the vet - is puppy Prozac so I am satisfied).Customer Review: not for my dogs

I have three dogs - one has become very nervous and affects the other two. I put the plug-in right where she lays most of the time, and it has absolutely no effect on any of the dogs. I've had it plugged in for two weeks, and bought several refills assuming that it should help with at least one of them! It may help with some, but definitely not mine. They are a basset, a basset/lab mix, and a heeler/border collie mix.Customer Review: Worked a little too well

This product seemed to make my calm lab mix lethargic and my hyper lab mix lethargic as well. We used the product for about a week and then had to unplug it because both dogs stopped eating for over a day. (They might skip a meal, but never three meals in a row.) Now we plug in for a day or so a week to help the hyper dog become a little calmer. I couldn't wait to try this product because one of my dogs has extreme anxiety when I leave the house. He also barks at everything and is petrified of people coming into my house. When I plugged this product in, he went right to it and smelled it and I thought,wow, maybe this is going to work. But, nothing has changed in the past month...he is as hyper and crazy as ever, unfortunately.Customer Review: Did NOT work for us

After reading reviews of this product, I decided to give it a try. My senior dog's anxiety has slowly gotten worse over the years. She trembles, whimpers, grunts, etc. I had such high hopes that this would calm her down. It's being used in a small area, so I know she's getting the full strength. Unfortunately, it has been over 2 weeks and have yet to see one difference it has made.
