My opinion is that if Acme had just designed a more open bottom on the stainless filter basket or allowed you to open the filter basket someway, then these filters wouldn't even be needed. Cleaning Acme juicers without them is a big pain in the rear. It's laughable that they advertise them as easily cleaned and it's why I decided on an 8003 series Omega juicer - no filters are needed and clean up is a breeze.Customer Review: Hard to find

These are not easy to come by, and I have been rationing mine for some time now. Worthwhile stockpiling these if you have this Juicerator model. True, the filters seem old-fashioned now that technology has sped ahead from decades ago when home juicers first appeared on the market. But I bought my Acme Juicerator in the mid-70s, and it still works great. That's my idea of a keeper.Customer Review: Never juice without them

Had to say I agree with the first reviewer...these are necessary to make juice with and not get stuck cleaning pulp out of the metal basket that is hard to clean. I peel the paper filter away from the inside of the basket and throw it in the compost...then a quick rinse and it's clean. Saves about 10 minutes of washing this item every day.Customer Review: NICE FILTERS

These filter are definitely a time saver!! Everyone should get these if they have the acme juicer to match. Clean up times is a snap in comparison to digging out all of the little pieces of fruit and pulp. I love them and will continue to purchase them the life of the machine.
