This apple toothpick holder is very cute, though it was smaller than I anticipated. It's about 2 1/2" tall with a 5" circumference. It has a 1" by 3/4" hole on the other side of the apple to hold the toothpicks. It comes in a little box that reads "Big Apple Hand Painted Fine Ceramicware Toothpick Holder." and is made in China. Also included is a little baggy with twenty fancy toothpicks. Judging by how they fit, I would imagine you can keep about 50 toothpicks in this apple at a time. The color is very nice, vibrant without being too over the top and it has a nice shine and fairly good weight to it. The picture on Amazon is very accurate, though you don't get a sense of the size of it. Over all, though I'm pleased with it and it is meant as a gift, I think $10 is the most I would pay for it and if I were pricing it myself I'd say it's more of a $5 or $7.50 item. Still, I don't regret buying it.
