These things will save space, but are a poor substitute for the cheap containers your spices come in. The magnet isn't very strong at all. It is really easy to not close the containers right.
I'm looking for a better solution. They do look cool.

These canisters look good, but the caps stick really badly and make it very difficult to open when you need the spices. I will not be ordering these again as they seem to be of substandard quality.Customer Review: Very handy

These little magnetic containers are a good value for the money. I didn't use the metal backer but just attached them to the side of my kitchen exhaust fan and put my most used spices there.Customer Review: Spice cans
