I bought the litter locker when they first came out years ago. It reminds me of the product that stores soiled baby diapers. In the same way, it seals away the odor from the clumps of litter and makes it possible to go for a week or more without moving the clumps of litter out to the garbage. The bags don't breathe at all, so once the lid closes, the smell is gone. When you want to take it to the garbage, you cut the bag leaving enough room to tie a knot. I use Fresh Step litter, and it lasts longer than any I've tried, especially when you put the clumps daily into the litter locker. There's no parts to break. I've been using the Litter Locker for approximately 7 months. It's the only way I've found that truly keeps the odors of disposed litter down sufficiently. Once you're used to the routine, it's easy to reload. I'd give it 5 stars, but there are improvements I'd like to see, mainly a wider opening. The refills are expensive, so that's why I've bought them here for a notably lower price. I've become adept at emptying the Litter Locker with wasting very little of the plastic liner material from the cartridge. Unless there's a better invention out there that functions just as well, I recommend this product. It works.Customer Review: Great bargain for a reliable and sometimes hard to find item.

I love being able to purchase these in a multipak. The cost savings is significant as well, since they run about $10 plus tax where I live. I experienced prompt delivery and found the product to be the same as in the stores. This stuff has dealt with the smell and pain of clean up much better than I anticipated.
My only complaint is that sometimes it is hard to tell when the bag is running out and you turn it, only to realize later that the top came down and some spilled in the container.
The only way I would stop using this is if I could toilet train my cat, and he is pretty resistant to that notion.

LITTER LOCKER is a great product. I have two cats so I empty the bag from the container once a week. (just using the handy cutting tool inside the litterlocker, tie a new knot, and empty the old one and set to go!!) If if you have one cat, it can be emptied once every two weeks. The bag cartridge will last a LONG time (about a month for two cats). When bought in bulk (package of 5), it's much cheaper.
LItterlocker has made cleaning up the litter box a snap. No more grocery baggies and going outside every single time. Once twist of the handle, poo is gone and it really is air tight so no odor!

This a good product. I have 8 indoor-only cats and it's great to walk into the house and not smell any odor. We use clay litter, so the cartridges last much longer, as there are no large clumps of urine. You can also make it last longer by not turning the wheels all the way -- you get two uses with one wheel turn.
Two items that could be greatly improved: 1) Put a colored tab on the plastic at the beginning of the cartridge so that it can be started without wasting plastic. 2) Put a much larger black stripe at the end so that you really know when it's ending.
