Customer Review: Better than the SharpStone

I've been using a 2.5" SharpStone grinder, and this beats it hands down, with a much nicer feel, 24 grinding "nubs" to SharpStone's 12, and also no tight lid leaving aluminum residue around the outer edges after grinding.
Another review gave this only 3 stars, saying that it has a weak magnet, however it works just fine: turn the grinder upside-down and the lid doesn't fall off, even with a bit of shaking. What more does one need?
Also, someone noted that this model's kief screen is too fine to be effective. While it does look that way, I'm finding that it is equal in "production" to the SharpStone.
One complaint that I have with both products is that they require too many turns to tighten the parts together; surely these could have been machined so that a single twist would do the trick, eliminating the need for a fine touch in order to get the pieces together without stripping the threads.

Friends of mine have commented on this grinder saying how much they like it.
Pros
-Grinds herb with minimal effort, the teeth are VERY sharp
-Screen works very well (You get very fine, almost dust-like material)
-Fits comfortably in your hands, has a little weight that most grinders don't so it feels nice to hold.
-Easily kept in your pocket
-Came with a little carrying pouch
-Very cheap for the quality
-Durable
Cons
-Finger Prints are easily seen on the outside, making it less attractive, easily wiped off with a cloth.
-Storage area is rather small for non-screened herb (My guess is for better screening)
-Threads have to be aligned perfectly or you will cross-thread
-Grinded herb accumulates in the threads, sometimes making it a little harder to close.
I am very satisfied with this grinder.

The cons of this grinder outweigh the pros so they go first:
Cons:
- SMALL. Don't compare this to other 2.25" grinders, because it's also REALLY thin (only 1.5). You really cant grind much herb at a time (barely enough for one person).
- Expensive. You can get 5 grinders that are bigger, better, and for the same price elsewhere on Amazon.
- Screen holes are too small! Nothing can get through them so it's pretty much a waste.
Pros:
- Looks awesome. Not black like the pictures, more of a really dark grey.
- Very dense. Uses a lot heavier metal than some other grinders
- Nice teeth
- Strong magnet
If you really have the money to waste and NEED a good looking small grinder, then by all means get this one. But I suggest shopping around on amazon.

Bought this @ about 2am on a Wednesday shipping said it would be anywhere from 7 days to 2 weeks and it showed up 3 days later, extremely impressed with the speed but that might not be everyone's case since I live next to Colorado and as I understand where it was shipped from. I'm very impressed with the quality of this especially compared to my old clogged up pos aluminium one extremely close tolerances I unscrewed the pieces and ran my finger along the inside threads and felt like sum oil so I ran my finger over it a little harder and it cut me in 3 perfectly spaced slits on the tip of my finger excellent! The only complaint I have is there are other customers who said theirs came with a nice pouch, however mine only came in a flimsy cardboard box, nevertheless great productCustomer Review: Buy this if you are trying to compare!

I bought this a bit ago thinking that the price is right, but perhaps the quality was going to be on the lacking side. I was wrong! This is a supreme deal for a grinder, since the unit has ALL the features of a nicer much more expensive unit. First, the material it is made of is not just a light aluminum, but it is a heavier alloy that just gives it a nice feel. The grinding action is perfect for creating perfectly smokable or vaporizer ready material, and with the nice built in screen you don't have to worry about losing your precious 'fine material'. The top is magnetic too, and the thing even came with a case! Comparable to a $80 unit in shops, I would highly reccommend this grinder!
