Customer Review: It's a Keeper, I Guess!

I bought this clock recently and couldn't wait to get it delivered. When it finally got here I wound it up expecting to hear the 'loud' and unmistakable ticking formerly associated with the wind up Big Ben clocks. I got used to their loud ticking when I stayed at my grandmother's over the years and the sound always gave me a feeling of warmth and security. However, this clock was a bit of a disappointment in the 'loud' ticking area, since I really have to strain to hear it and believe me, I have great hearing, so it's not made like the old days, but then again, what is, I guess.
I gave it 4 stars for this reason so if you're looking for an authentic old style Big Ben wind up, this one just doesn't do it.....close, but no cigar!
