The product was shipped, and arrived swiftly. It was found to be an excellent, sturdy, nutcracker. A walnut has no chance against this tool. A word of advice, place a towel over the nut when cracking them, as sharp shards of the shells will shoot across the room... and you don't want to step on one of those. :)Customer Review: works, but somewhat dangerous

I got this product to crack black walnuts. It works. It's sturdy. It has a nice appearance.
Warning: the walnuts crack in an explosive way, spraying bits of their hard and highly abrasive shells all over the place. These shells have SHARP points.
Safety glasses should be worn.
